XFL fans have been patiently waiting for news on XFL cities. The June 1st rumor was a dud. But we have gotten new hire and partnership news this week, and the XFL team personnel are coming as soon as this week.
XFL super fan Brian sent this tidbit along. It looks like there is a new section on the shop.xfl.com site. 2023 cities it is labeled but not live yet.

San Antonio
Washington DC
St. Louis
Seattle
Orlando
Las Vegas
Houston
Dallas
You can see from the website all, but Dallas is listed. No products are listed yet but expect something coming soon. Would you buy your team cities T-Shirt without the logo?
In the lead-up to 2022, the XFL did the same with their merchandise. T-Shirts had the city name only. As we have noted, it looks like the XFL 3.0 era is following the same playbook.
This would fall in line with the cities released first, getting fans excited and buying merch. Then drop the team names, colors, and logo in August, just before the school year and NFL season begin.
Expect to see these looks during the June and July Player Showcase events.

Interesting about Dallas being omitted. Wonder if they’ve been under some pressure from their TV partners to try to get NY back into the mix. It would be odd not having a team in the hub city, but having players practice and live there during the season, perhaps while holding the championship game there, could provide a bit of an economic boost while waiting, perhaps, on expansion in a few years.
