The Vegas Vipers Sign QB D’Angelo Fulford, Make 2 Other Moves

The Vipers on Tuesday (4/4), signed 25 year old D’Angelo Fulford (QB) to possibly backup Jalan or become the 3rd stringer behind Brett Hundley. D’Angelo spent 4 years at the University of Mount Union where he put up some crazy numbers in his college years.

D’Angelo Fulford In His 4 Years At Mount Union:

Passing (All 4 Years): 9,482 YDs/ 134 Pass TDs/ 13 INTs

Rushing (All 4 Years): 1,333 Rush YDs/ 20 Rush TDs

The 6’2 quarterback hasn’t played in a professional league yet but was signed by the Bay Area Panthers in the IFL in late 2022 but never got a chance to play.

But before that the Vipers on Monday (4/3) released Bailey Giffen (Kicker) 2 days after he made his season long FG which was good from 37-yards.

Bailey was 6-13 (46%) on FG’s for the year which is the clear reason why they released him. A day after they released Giffen they went and got Sam Sloman who has played with the Los Angeles Rams back in 2020 along with the Tennessee Titans. Sam went 10-13 on FG’s in total for both teams in 2020 and went on to be a free agent after ending his 2020 season on the Titans roster.

Sam jumped from practice squad to practice squad through 2021 and 2022 with teams like the Steelers and 49ers and now lands a starting job with the Vipers.
