I think McAfee would be a great announcer in the XFL. Definitely not a Play-By-Play guy but for sure a modern day John Madden/JJ Watt (look alike) /Micheal Waltrip type character in the booth. High energy and quick witted. Miles ahead of Chris Collinsworth or Dennis Miller…way more interesting also.

I love the idea of Pat being an announcer for the XFL! I grew up as a Colts fan (and still am) so I can remember how good he was as a player, and yes, even as a punter he could pin teams in or around their own 5 yard line…plus Pat’s also a stand up comedian, so he could bring that humor (not and over abundance) that would be an equal tradeoff! So, yes, I’m all for it!!! 🙂
