    Mark,

Those markets make up 16+% of the neilsen TV households. A bit short of my own guess of 17-20% they’d target but not by much.
For perspective AAF was just 9+% and XFL 2.0 was 22+%. Its only geographically Midwest/South Central to East Coast also.

Could see USFL expand west in 2023/24 (even with XFL?).

Big news on The Herd today I hope.

Great to hear all the throw back names and logos. The Breakers return to play for their 2nd home city (1984 season), in New Orleans, after moving from Boston (’83) and before ending in Portland (’85). Pittsburgh Maulers and Houston Gamblers only non-original 12 USFL teams (1984 expansion cities).

A little surprised they didn’t bring back the Chicago Blitz for the market reach.
Same thoughts on the Denver Gold. Strong attendance figures in the past.
Non surprised Oakland was left off the list.

I will be rooting for my original favorite USFL team, the Philadelphia Stars (in all three championship games) .

As a teenager, I followed the ’80s USFL as much as you could form a non-USFL city. I have a self-made scrapbook from all the news and game box scores published in our local newspaper, at the time.

Quick fact. The NJ Generals, NY Yankees and the NY Mets all had home games on the same day (1983, I believe) and the Generals had the largest crowd of the three games.

Keep up the great work Mark!!
